This unique arts immersion program is presented for teachers, but is open to others who are interested in

Puerto Rican muralism. Participants may register a spouse or significant other to share the workshop classes

and tourist excursions. Registration must be made by September 15, 2026. The course is expected to fill so

register early.

The $749 registration fee covers all instruction, materials, excursions (as listed in the final itinerary schedule)

and guides and transportation to Yauco. It also includes the cross-island transfer from San Juan to Ponce and

then back to San Juan at the listed times. Some meals will be included as per the final itinerary schedule.

Because this is the winter holiday break and many teachers from the States would like to be in Puerto Rico

during this period, COLORS OF THE AMERICAS is designed to be as flexible as possible. If participants wish

to arrive early and enjoy San Juan, or other parts of the Island it is easily possible. The same is true for

extensions of the week. It is also anticipated that many travelers will want to use airline miles for their flights or

hotel benefits packages.

The included transport will leave the airport in San Juan at 5:00 PM on Monday, December 28th for Ponce.

The return transport to San Juan will depart Ponce at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 2nd.

Participants must arrange their own hotel stay in Ponce. There are many, many options but it is

recommended that participants stay in downtown Ponce which will allow for easy walking distances for all

workshop activities.

$100 is non-refundable after registration. The remaining registration fee is refundable until October 15, 2026.

Cancelations must be made in writing to: Travel@artsengageinternational.org. After October 15, 2026 no

refunds will be possible as local arrangements will already be contracted by that point.
